Craig Cox

Odenton, Maryland

Craig Cox is a software engineer working at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD. Previously he worked at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, OH, following a career as a civil servant with the Air Force. He worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, and Eglin Air Force Base near Fort Walton Beach, FL. He has worked as a software developer or engineer since 1993. He has a Masters degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has been flying on and off since 1985. Most of his experience has been in Piper low-wing aircraft (Warrior, Archer II, Arrow III, Cherokee 235). He currently flies an Arrow III based at Tipton Airfield near Fort Meade, MD.
